You Have to go out there
One of the biggest takeaways for anyone tuning in right now is this: whether you’re an artist, a business owner, or someone working toward growing your dream, there are so many ways to build a successful and fulfilling journey. Sure, there’s advertising, social media, and all those tools—but Rachael’s story reminds us of the power of connection and word-of-mouth.
From day one, Rachael focused on sharing her talents and creating meaningful experiences. People loved what she brought to the table, shared it with friends, and it grew naturally from there. She created something real, something memorable, and that organic growth became her foundation. So much of the world now is about awareness—conscious, intentional growth—and that’s what makes her approach so inspiring.
For Rachael, this isn’t about flashy launches or fast-paced strategies. She doesn’t even use those words because, for her, it’s about moving at a pace that feels grounded and true to who she is. Her work, her art, and her business are deeply personal—they’re her “baby,” but they’ve also taken on a life of their own. And that life, that energy, deserves space to grow authentically. It’s like nurturing a relationship or watching something develop over time—it’s not about rushing but about honoring the process.
Now, after years of one-on-one work, she’s able to share her talents with more people, and that’s been a journey all its own. For anyone listening, it’s such an important reminder: move at your own pace. Stay true to your vision and let it unfold naturally. Whether you’re stepping into the virtual space or sticking to more personal interactions, there’s no rush—your unique journey is worth taking the time to get right.
the creative energy your business needs
For creativity to truly flourish, there needs to be a little structure to support it, kind of like a foundation. You can see this idea beautifully mirrored in nature. Take spring, for example—it’s such a simple but powerful illustration. After the decay of winter, new life begins to sprout. Slowly but surely, it grows, spreads, and becomes vibrant and wild. That energy, the untamed, expansive, and chaotic beauty, reflects the traditional feminine energy—free, flowing, and full of possibility, like the wilderness itself.
On the other hand, the masculine energy provides the structure—the decider—that helps guide and shape all that creativity into something tangible. It’s such a beautiful balance: the wild creativity paired with just enough structure to help it thrive.
Even a 3rd grader can sell art
At a young age, Rachael started earning her own income, and looking back, it’s clear she was quite the hustler even as a 10-year-old! She had that fearless energy that childhood can bring—a belief that there are no obstacles, nothing to prove, and no pressure to perform. It’s a freedom that, when nurtured, can allow creativity to thrive.
That mindset gave Rachael the freedom to explore and express herself early on. She carried that spirit from elementary school through junior high, high school, and beyond. She painted, sold her work, and eventually discovered photography in late high school. Rachael loved the idea of creating something tangible that people could take home—imagining her art going on to live new lives, intertwined with others, like little energetic creatures embarking on their own adventures.
For her, art was always about creating connections and experiences. Over time, this evolved into intellectual, emotional, and physical expressions of creativity. Photography became a significant focus, especially as she pursued portrait photography. Interestingly, her time in the service industry, working as a waitress, taught her invaluable skills about human connection. Rachael developed a deep sensitivity to people’s unspoken needs—the things they might not say but feel. This ability to tune in to others brought a new dimension to her work as a photographer.
Rachael quickly realized how much these skills—attentiveness, communication, and attention to detail—enhanced her art, particularly in creating portraits that truly connected with her subjects. Now, as she transitions into mentoring, teaching, and coaching, it’s clear that her journey has been shaped by her ability to combine creativity, connection, and a genuine understanding of others. It’s been a meaningful and inspiring path for her.
