merry christmas from the beach...

If you know me you know that I love Christmas card season and I take our family Christmas card very seriously... yet humor is what I am going for!  This year I wanted to have a perfect portrait drawn of us on the beach on the outside of the card and then the "reality" on the inside of the card, which in this case was us in a parking lot with a shower curtain with a beach scene taped up behind us.  No family is perfect, no matter what it may seem on the outside, and in a time of social media where people are often presenting the best of themselves I wanted to play off of that a bit.  After we got the image done, I had my talented friend Erin of Erin Una do the drawing for us!
