childhood unplugged april

We left warm Miami and spent ten days in chilly Colorado where being unplugged comes extremely easy... snowmen, skiing and tubing were among the many activities. It is so incredible to watch my boys in the mountains and learning to ski, I couldn't believe the fact they were both skiing blues by the end of the trip with the skies in "french fries" or one teacher called them "rocket ships" which the boys seemed to love. Each afternoon we came inside after a day in the cold for a nice cup of hot chocolate and exchanged stories of the day. These are the trips I will always remember... until next year!
